War ich faul! Habe ich gedacht.

Ich habe mal wieder zusammengesucht, was ich im April so gemacht habe.

Nadelbindenadeln / nalbinding needles

 

Ich habe noch ein paar Nadelbindenadeln gemacht. Das macht mir so viel Spass, das werden noch mehr werden.

Als ich das Bild gemacht habe, fiel mir auf, dass ich bei zweien davon vergessen habe, ein Loch zu bohren. Das hole ich natürlich noch nach!

I made some nalbinding needles. It’s so much fun to make them, I will make some more for sure.

Taking the picture I saw, that I forgot to drill a hole in two of them. I’m of course going to do that.

WIP: Sprang

Das ist ein Projekt, an dem ich noch arbeite. Es soll einmal ein gesprangter Beutel werden. Einiges ist schon erledigt, aber ein bisschen Arbeit habe ich da noch vor mir.

Das Material ist reine Schurwolle, die ich mit Krapp gefärbt habe.

 

This is a project I’m still working on. It’s going to be a sprang pouch. I’ve already worked quite far, but there is still some work left to do on this one.

The pouch will be made of pure wool that I dyed with madder.

 

Brettchenborte / Tablet woven band

Diese Brettchenborte kennt Ihr schon aus den UFOs. Im April habe ich sie jetzt endlich fertig gewoben, bevor sie ihren ersten Geburtstag als UFO (UnFertiges Objekt) feiern konnte

Es ist ein hübsches Einzugsmuster, das ich aus dem Kopf auf einer Veranstaltung aufgezogen habe. Solche Muster denke ich mir gerne beim Einziehen erst aus.

Und natürlich ist die Borte aus pflanzengefärbter Wolle.

 

You already know this tablet woven band from my UFOs. I finally finished it in April before it could celebrate its first birthday as an UFO (UnFinished Project)

The band has a nice pattern that I created when starting the band at an event. I like to think of such patterns while starting the band.

And of course the band is made from naturally dyed wool.

Wie jetzt? Das sind Wollknäuel. Ja, sind es. Und zwar welche, die ich aus verhedderten Strängen (mal wieder) gewickelt habe. Das kann auch mal Stunden dauern.  Klick

 

What’s this? These are balls of yarn. Yes, they are. These are balls of yarn that I wound from untangled skeins (yes, again). This can take hours! click

 

Nadelgebundene Mütze, Übergröße / Oversized nalbound hat

 

Ist die Mütze nicht etwas groß geworden? Ist sie! Aber sie soll auch noch gefilzt werden. Drückt mir die Daumen, dass sie auf eine gute Größe schrumpft.

Auch hier habe ich wieder pflanzengefärbte Wolle verwendet und im Oslo-Stich locker vernadelt.

 

Isn’t that hat a little bit oversized? It is! But it’s going to be fulled. Keep your fingers crossed that it shrinks to a good size.

Again I used naturally dyed wool and nalbound in a loose Oslo stitch.

Mit diesen Socken habe ich kürzlich erst begonnen und bin schon gut voran gekommen.

Wieder mal 100 % Wolle, pflanzengefärbt. Ich nehme das Garn doppelt für schöne dicke Kuschelsocken. Für die Nadelbinder unter Euch: genadelt in Mammen, mit F2 Verbindung

 

I only recently started those socks and they grow quickly.

Again 100 % wool, naturally dyed. I double the yarn for socks that are thick, warm and cosy. For the nalbinders out there: nalbound in Mammen with F2 connection.
